Mediator - Delhi

About two decades back, Prachi started her career in New York as a litigator and quickly evolved to becoming a dispute settlements specialist. Since, she has successfully mediated and arbitrated several matters in India and United States. She is a mediator at the Supreme Court of India and a resource person for the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India and also for the Delhi Dispute Resolution Society, Government of National Capital Territory, New Delhi, India. She is currently working with organizations like Art of Living to introduce and enhance the use of mediations at grass-root level across various cities in India.

She founded TAG – The ADR Group in Delhi to realise her passion for Alternate Dispute Resolution and to bring together some of the finest ADR minds in the country. After graduating from St. Stephen’s College, she studied law at the University of Delhi followed by a Masters in Law from the New York University with a focus on Alternative Dispute Resolutions. She is certified to mediate by the Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee of the Supreme Court of India. She received advanced trainings from JAMS (Judicial Arbitration & Mediation Services), California. She is also for mediating complex disputes by the Harvard Law School and has worked as a Visiting Fellow at the Gould Centre for Conflict Resolution, Stanford Law School to research and develop mechanisms for Indian industries and companies to effectively use ADR.

Prachi has been awarded the prestigious title of “Weinstein JAMS Fellow”, in recognition of her commitment to Alternative Dispute Resolution and to the constructive resolution of conflict internationally. Apart from her many publications, she has also co-authored and published with the International Task Force on the topic of switching hats in ADR – Med-Arb, Arb-Med, Arb-Med-Arb. She is also a Distinguished Fellow with the International Academy of Mediators and plays an active part on their “Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Committee”.
