Lisa Baker Morgan

Admitted to the California Bar and the U.S. District Court, Morgan is an American trial attorney and mediator. She received her Juris Doctor from Southwestern University and a Master of Laws in International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution from Paris-Universite-Pantheon-Assas. Morgan has over fifteen years of experience in dispute resolution in international and domestic matters. As a litigator, she represented defendants and plaintiffs in an array of commercial and civil matters.

Morgan trained as a mediator and received her certification of Mediation in both Europe and the United States from the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution, the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, and the Center for Dispute Resolution. She is IMI-qualified. Morgan has successfully mediated commercial and non-commercial litigated matters, including, construction disputes, business disputes, contractual disputes, partnership disputes, intellectual property, privacy and personal torts, product liability, medical malpractice, insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, and international affairs. In addition to her ad hoc mediation practice, she is on the panel for the Chambre Arbitrale Internationale de Paris, Mediation Center in Los Angeles, and a consultant for Mediators Beyond Borders.

She is a member of the International Bar Association, American Bar Association, California Bar Association, Southern California Mediation Association, Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution, and the Academy of Mediation.

A published author, Morgan was most recently published in the California Daily Journal on the subject of early dispute resolution. Morgan serves as a guest lecturer and instructor of mediation and negotiation skills .

Morgan mediates in the United States and in France. She provides Early Neutral Evaluations and is skilled in the implementation of mixed-mode mediation. Mediations may be conducted in person or via Zoom.
